Description/Duties:

1.

Performs simple, repetitive tasks such as press operation, record keeping, inspecting, inserting, trimming, boxing, bagging and other similar production functions.

2.

Assumes responsibility for quality of the parts produced under custody, to ensure the customer receives parts according to specification as defined in AQPQ. Refers quality issues to technical personnel for handling.

3.

Reads and understands the Work Instructions and takes all necessary steps to insure the instructions are followed and properly completed.

4.

Maintains accurate job, count, inspection and time records as required, and labels all boxes according to customer specifications.

5.

Organizes their assignments in an efficient manner.

6.

Takes responsibility for all processes, equipment, safety and housekeeping for their work area.

7.

Meets manufacturing quality and quantity standards as written in the work instructions

8.

Reports problems as quickly as possible to Technicians or the Supervisor to minimize quality, delays, downtime and rework issues.

9.

Follows the Company's employee handbook and it's policies and procedures.

10.

Complies with all policies, procedures and work instructions relative to the Quality requirements that pertain to this position.

11.

Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.


Background/Experience Preferred:
*Education:Requires a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
*Experience:Requires a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar production environment. Must be able to: Read and understand work instructions; write routine reports; view, inspect and trim small precision parts within established cycle times; perform simple math exercises to ensure correct part counts, weights, and mixing ratios. Must be capable of solving simple manufacturing problems.

Must be able to distinguish color and shade variations. Physical exertion requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, stooping, reaching over head, twisting and lifting ability up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles and extreme heat. Conditions may include exposure to caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, vibration and loud noise levels.
