Universal Air Connectors
The Q Inflatable Seal and Clamp and Pneuma-Cel lines employ a universal air connector system. Connectors are most commonly located on the base of the profile, but, in the case of straight (as with Pneuma-Cel) or U-shaped configurations, can also be located out an end. Universal connectors cannot be located on the side of a profile. Depending on the width of the selected cross section, either a 10-32 or 1/8-27 NPT universal male fitting will be used. The following options are currently available within the Q Design Tool. These will be permanently affixed to the universal connector, so it’s ready for immediate use.
1/4″ OD blue polyurethane hose, 18″ long, no adapter. For use with EPDM, Nitrile, and Neoprene profiles
1/4″ OD blue polyurethane hose, 1/8-27 male NPT adapter (supplied loose). For use with EPDM, Nitrile, and Neoprene profiles
1/4″ OD clear high temp hose, 18″ long, no adapter. For use with Silicone profiles
1/4″ OD clear high temp hose, 18″ long, 1/8-27 male NPT adapter. For use with Silicone profiles
1/4″ OD clear high temp hose, 18″ long, M8X1.0 male adapter. For use with Silicone profiles
6mm OD green polyurethane air connector, M8X1.0 male adapter (supplied loose). For use with EPDM, Nitrile, and Neoprene profiles
1/4″ Direct Push Connect Adapter. For use with all materials
